Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana

Please be advised of the following maintenance work and renovations taking place or due to take place at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana .

Rockaway Bay Waterpark:  From 2 September to 20 November ,the resort will begin maintenance on the adult and teens’ slides in the waterpark.  The area will be screened but the rest of the waterpark will remain open and the Kid’s area will be available for guests to use. No heavy machinery will be used during this time.  There are also waterslides available at the Kids’ pool area.    

Central Pool and Eclipse Pools:  The resort  will be changing the look and feel of the pools including a new floor for the area where the sunbeds are placed.  Activities and entertainment that normally take place at the Central pool will be moved to Woodstock Pool when this is reopened on September 9th.  The work here will not include any heavy machinery and the estimated completion date is November 30 2024.  Please note that guests can use any of the other pools on offer including Bongo Pool, Eden Pool (adults only), Drums and Guitar Pools, plus Woodstock and Sax pool when they are reopened.  

 Sax Pool and Woodstock Pool:  These pools have already had some maintenance taking place to replace tiles and are due to be reopened on September 9 2024.  Again no heavy machinery is being used.  

 Moon Bar Refurbishment:  During this time ,the resort will be replacing furniture and making the area fresh and rejuvenated.  No heavy machinery will be used and the area will be screened from guests view. Work is scheduled to be completed by October 18 2024.  During the refurbishment ,a full bar will be set up at the main lobby area which will be open until 11pm, and the bowling bar hours will be extended.  Entertainment will take place in different areas of The Boulevard, and if weather allows, entertainment activities will also take place and a bar set up at the Eclipse Terrace until 12am.  

 Main Lobby:  From October 24 2024 the resort will be refurbishing the main lobby, with an estimated completion date of December 15 2024.  Check-in/Check out and all operations will move to the Group’s lobby during this time.  The lobby will be screened from view during this time and no heavy machinery will be used. 

Hours of operation will be 8am to 7pm daily.
